Mark Robinson

An entrepreneur with 20 years experience in managing a successful marketing communications company, Mark established the original Whale Watcher's Private Luxury Apartment in Fish Hoek to subsidise his home loan repayments, back in 1999.

Since then, Mark and his wife Belinda have expanded the business, which at last count was marketing and managing over 30 Whale Watcher's apartments along the False Bay coastline, in Fish Hoek, St James and Muizenberg.

Mark is also committed to the successful development of the Muizenberg beach front, serving as chairman of the Muizenberg Beach Body Corporate and on the committee of the False Bay Tourism and Business Association.

When not pursuing business interests, you're likely to find Mark enjoying family life, hiking in the mountains around False Bay, or cycling in preparation for the annual Cape Argus Cycle Tour.

Belinda Robinson

A busy mother, wife and the banker in the business, Belinda is also the accounting officer and ensures that everything affecting your stay at Whale Watchers is 'eksie perfeksie' [an Afrikaans expression meaning, excellently perfect]. A perfectionist by nature, Belinda thrives on making your stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible.

When she finds time between the demands of motherhood and an expanding business, Belinda enjoys spinning at the gym, cycling with husband Mark and entertaining family weekends.
