Q. How far are you from the airport?
A. About 45mins from Cape Town International Airport, by road during normal traffic.
Q. How far are you from the Cape Town city centre?
A. About 35mins by road during normal traffic and 45 minutes by train. All our accommodation is located within a few minutes walk of a railway station.
Q. How far are you from the beach?
A. Some apartments are right on Muizenberg Beach, while all the others are within a short walking distance from a beach, tidal pool or coastal walk way.
Q. Do you offer car hire?

Q. How far are you from Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Robben Island and the V&A Waterfront?
A. All four of these world-renowned destinations are within 45mins by road.
Q. How far are you from Cape Point Nature Reserve?
A. About 20 mins by car along the coastal road.
Q. How far are you from the winelands?
A. It takes about 30, 40 and 50 minutes to the Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek Wine Routes respectively. However the Constantia Wine Route, the Cape?s oldest, is right on our doorstep just 15 mins away.

Q. Is it safe to swim in the sea?
A. Yes, it is safe provided you do so at recognised swimming beaches. Shark attacks are rare, although more prevalent in recent years. The recent introduction of shark-spotters on the mountainsides has been very successful.
Q. What about crime?
A. We have crime like any other international city, but provided you take common sense precautions you are unlikely to encounter serious crime. Precautionary behaviour includes not wearing expensive and flashy jewellery in crowds, avoiding the train after dark, leaving your apartment unlocked, walking alone down dark allies, etc. Basic stuff.
Q. Is it safe to use the train along the coastline to Simon?s Town or Muizenberg?
A. Yes, it is safe and a very popular excursion for both holidaymakers and local families. Trains depart every 30 minutes during the day. Travel first class.
From Simon?s Town station, you can walk to the naval museum, toy museum and enjoy all the attractions of the waterfront, including restaurants, art galleries and boat cruises. Or take a tuk tuk taxi to visit the endangered African Penguins at Boulder?s Beach.
From Muizenberg station, Surfer?s Corner and all the attractions of the newly upgraded and buzzing beachfront beckon.
Q. Is it safe to use the train to Cape Town?
A. Yes, it is safe. Travel first class and not after dark.
